Theodoros – Vasileios D. Karamitros - Chairman of the Board of Directors

Theodoros – Vasileios D. Karamitros is active in the field of tourist transport. He has participated in the management of GENIKI PANELLADIKI for many years, as member of the Board since 2000, as treasurer from 2004 to 2009 and as Chairman of the Board since 2009. Since 2013, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Panhellenic Mutual Insurance Cooperative of Public Use Vehicle Owners LL P

Aristeidis G. Marinis – Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors

Aristeidis G. Marinis is active in the fields of tourist transport and organized travel and is Chairman of the Board. of GEPOET (General Panhellenic Federation of Tourism Enterprises). He has participated in the management of GENIKI PANELLADIKI for many years, as Vice-Chairman of the Board since 2009, as General Secretary of the Board since 2015 and as Vice-Chairman of the Board since 03.29.2018. He speaks English fluently.

Panagiotis V. Maroulis – General Secretary of the Board of Directors

Panagiotis V. Maroulis is active in the field of tourist transport, is an active member of the Academy of Young Entrepreneurs of Greece (ESYNE), is a member of the evaluation committee of new innovative business ideas of the Blue Growth Association, and since 03.24.2021 is General Secretary of the BOD of GENIKI PANELLADIKI. He has studied Business Administration at the University of West Attica and has a Master’s degree in International Business Administration from the London Metropolitan University. He speaks English and German fluently.

Konstantinos G. Papadakis – Treasurer of the Board of Directors

Konstantinos G. Papadakis is active in the field of tourist transport and in the trade-import of buses – trucks and spare parts. He has participated in the management of GENIKI PANELLADIKI as member of the Supervisory Board since 2015, as General Secretary of the Board since 03.29.2018 and as Treasurer of the Board since 03.24.2021. He has studied Business Administration and has experience in programming. He speaks English and German fluently.

Michael Zorpidis – Member of the Board of Directors

Michael Zorpidis is active in the fields of tourist transport and organized travel excursions, since 2006 as President of the Professional Chamber of Thessaloniki, is General Secretary of the Traver Agents Association, Curator of the Association of Tourist Offices of Greece, Member of the Board of Helexpo, has served as Municipal Councilor and Deputy Mayor in the Municipality of Thessaloniki, is President of the Regional Chamber Council of Central Macedonia and since 03.24.2021 is Member of the Board. of GENIKI PANELLADIKI. He has a degree from I.A.T.A. and speaks English fluently.

Dimitrios Michalopoulos – Member of the Board of Directors

Dimitrios Michalopoulos is active in the field of tourism transport and bus trade, and since 24.03.2021 he is a Member of the Board of GENIKI PANELLADIKI. He has a degree from the Piraeus University of Economics and speaks English and German fluently.

Evangelos D. Tsokas – Member of the Board of Directors

Evangelos D. Tsokas pursues business activities in the field of tourist transport since 1992. He participates in the management of GENIKI PANELLADIKI as member of the Board since 2015. He speaks English fluently.

Internal Audit Committee

Margarita Panagiotopoulou – Chairman of the Internal Audit Committee

Margarita Panagiotopoulou holds the position of Chairman of the Internal Audit Committee of GENIKI PANELLADIKI since 03.24.2021. Has 15 years of professional experience in the Auditing sector, from 2006 to 2015 as Audit Partner and from 2015 until today as Audit Partner and CEO of leading companies providing audit services in the insurance, industrial and commercial sectors. She holds a PhD from the Department of Business Administration of the University of the Aegean in Auditing and Accounting. holds a postgraduate degree in Professional Training of Auditors with specialization in Applied Accounting and Auditing from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (IESOEL), as well as a degree from the Department of Business Administration and Management from the Athens University of Economics and Business. She speaks English and German fluently.

Evangelos Mastrodimas – Member of the Internal Audit Committee

Evangelos Mastrodimas holds the position of member of the Internal Audit Committee of GENIKI PANELLADIKI since 02.01.2018. He has significant experience as an Economist in the corporate sector. rHe holds degrees from the Accounting Department of the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Patras and from the Business Administration Department of the University of Piraeus. He is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece and holds a Class A Accountant-Tax Consultant license. He speaks English fluently.

Konstantinos Politakos – Member of the Internal Audit Committee

He holds the position of member of the Internal Audit Committee and Legal Counsel of GENIKI PANELLADIKI since 02.01.2018. He has 20 years of experience in Law applicable to road accidents. He has followed a number of specialized seminars on matters of Law. He has a degree from the School of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as an MSc in European Law from the University of Kent, England. He is a Supreme Court Lawyer and a member of the Athens Bar Association. He speaks English fluently.

General Management

Efstathios Froussos – General Manager

Efstathios Froussos holds the position of General Manager. He has more than 20 years of experience as an Economist and General Manager in Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage companies. He holds an Economics degree from the Department of Economic Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a major in Business Economics and an MBA from the Hellenic Society of Business Administration (EEDE), has attended a number of seminars held by the Greek Institute for Insurance Education (EIAS), as well as specialized seminars on finance, accounting and tax matters. He is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece and of the Association of Representatives and Executives of Insurance Companies. He speaks English fluently.

Lampros Chinis – Chief Operating Officer

Lampros Chinis holds the position of Chief Operating Officer. He has more than 10 years of experience in the banking sector. He served as Chairman of the Internal Audit Committee of GENIKI PANELLADIKI from 2015 to 2018. He has a degree from the Department of Statistics and Insurance Studies of the University of Piraeus, as well as an ΜSc in Finance from Alba Graduate Business School. He is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece. He speaks English fluently.

Aliki Koreli – Commercial Operations Manager

Aliki Koreli holds the position of Commercial Operations Manager. She has 10 years of experience in the Insurance sector. She served as Head of the Underwriting and Issuance Department of GENIKI PANELLADIKI from 2012 to 2013. She has a degree in Sociology and Philosophy from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a Master’s degree in Sociology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a degree in Insurance Market & Business Administration from the American College of Greece, Deree College & EIAS, as well as an MBA from the Hellenic Management Association (EEDE). She has attended a number of seminars held by the Greek Institute for Insurance Education (EIAS). She speaks English and French fluently.

Andreas Kallinosis – Financial Operations Manager

Andreas Kallinosis holds the position of Financial Operations Manager. He has many years of experience, holding positions of responsibility in Shipping, Construction and Trading companies as a Financial Management executive. He served as Head of the Accounting Office of GENIKI PANELLADIKI from 2010 to 2014. He has a degree in Economic Sciences from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece, holds a Class A Accountant-Tax Consultant license and is a member of the Athens Accounting Association. He speaks English.

Functions

Panagiota Vasilopoulou – Head of Internal Audit

Panagiota Vasilopoulou holds the position of Head of Internal Audit since 2011. She joined GENIKI PANELLADIKI in 2010 as an Insurance Operations Management executive in the Underwriting and Issuance Department. Previously, she had served for many years as an executive of the Division of Property and Other Sectors in the Issuance and Claims Departments of a general insurance company. She holds a degree from the Department of Physics of The University of Patras and a professional certification in Internal Audit and Auditing from the Association of International Accountants (AIA), as well as a certification for Internal Auditors of Insurance Companies of the Greek Institute of Insurance Studies (EIAS) – Panteion University.

Dimitra Chrysaiti - Head of Compliance

Dimitra Chrysaiti holds the position of Head of Compliance Function since 2020. She joined GENIKI PANELLADIKI in 2018 as an executive of the legal department. She is a Court of Appeal lawyer and a member of the Athens Bar Association with 10 years of experience in court practice specialized in Civil, Commercial and Insurance Law. She graduated from the Law Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds the certification of Compliance Officer from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She speaks English and Italian.

Dimitra Papageorgiou-Siora - Head of Risk Management & Head of Actuarial Function

Dimitra Papageorgiou-Siora holds the position of Head of Risk Management Function since 2020, and the position of Head of Actuarial Function since 01.03.2022. Prior to this position, she was an Actuarial and Insurance Services Advisor in a multinational consulting organization, for a number of years. She is a graduate of the Department of Statistics & Insurance Science of the University of Piraeus, holds an MSc in Actuarial Science and Mathematical Finance from the University of Amsterdam and the CAA certification (Certified Actuarial Analyst). She speaks English, French, Spanish and Dutch.

Nikoletta Kokkinomilioti - Head of Information Security Function

Nikoletta Kokkinomilioti holds the position of Head of Information Security Function since 2022. She joined GENIKI PANELLADIKI in 2019 as a software engineer in IT Department and Head of M.I.S. Reporting. Prior to those, she held positions as software engineer and IT systems engineer, as well as positions of Insurance Consultant and ERP Consultant, at other Insurance and Software Development Companies. She holds a degree from the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Athens University of Applied Sciences with an IT and Cyber Security certification from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as an ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Lead Auditor certification and is a certified Specialist in Insurance Financial Accounting and Control Management by E.I.AS. She speaks English fluently.

Christina Tseliou – Data Protection Officer

Christina Tseliou holds the position of Data Protection Officer (DPO) at GENIKI PANELLADIKI. She specializes in Civil, Commercial and Insurance Law as well as Personal Data Law, and boasts 10 years of experience in the financial sector and in court practice. She graduated from the Law Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a Master’s degree in Civil Law (LLM in Civil Procedure) from the School of Law of the University of Athens, as well as a DPO certification. She is an accredited Mediator of the Greek Ministry of Justice, a Supreme Court lawyer and a member of the Athens Bar Association. She speaks English and French.
